Discord account details. When you interact with Howl, Discord shares a small amount of information with us, including your user ID, username, and the IDs of servers where the bot is active. We need this to link wallet activity to the right account.
Wallet and transaction records. Operating the wallet requires us to keep records such as:
- Deposit addresses generated for your account
- Deposit and withdrawal history
- Internal balance figures
- On-chain transaction identifiers
Keep in mind that blockchain transactions are already public by nature, independent of anything we store.
System logs. We keep technical logs — timestamps, command usage, error output — to help us debug issues, monitor reliability, and catch abuse.
2. What We Don't Collect
Howl never asks for or stores passwords, private keys, government identification, home addresses, or payment card details. All interaction happens through your existing Discord account and whatever external wallet you choose to withdraw to.

Data we hold is used strictly to run the Service — that means processing deposits and withdrawals, keeping balances accurate, answering support requests, spotting fraudulent or abusive behavior, and keeping the bot stable and secure. We don't use it for anything beyond operating Howl.
4. Where It's Stored
Your data lives on infrastructure we manage directly or through vetted hosting partners. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it, though no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
5. Sharing
We don't sell or rent your data, full stop. Limited disclosure only happens when it's necessary — to meet a legal obligation, to protect the Service from abuse, to investigate suspected fraud, or with the infrastructure providers we rely on to keep Howl running.
6. Public Blockchains
Once a transaction is submitted on-chain, it becomes permanently visible to anyone with access to a block explorer. This is a property of the underlying blockchain, not something Howl controls, and applies to every wallet address and transfer regardless of platform.
7. How Long We Keep It
We hold on to transaction and account records for as long as needed to keep the Service running smoothly, maintain accurate books, resolve disputes, and satisfy any legal or regulatory requirements that apply to us.
8. Third Parties We Rely On
Delivering Howl involves working with outside platforms, including Discord itself, the public blockchain networks we support, Coingecko and the hosting and networking providers behind our infrastructure. Each of these operates under its own separate privacy terms.
9. Updates To Offered Services and Features
Howl is under active and continuous development. As the bot matures, our data handling and infrastructure may change to keep pace with new features and improvements.
This may include changes to how we collect, store, and process data, the fees we charge, and the way we interact with third-party services.
We will update this policy accordingly to reflect any significant changes.
10. Policy Updates
We may revise this policy as Howl evolves. Any changes will be posted here with an updated date, and continuing to use the Service afterward means you accept the revised version.
